Half Way There

Can you believe it? We’re already half way through the semester. Winter break isn’t too far away. I’m sure most of us are super excited and have made plans to visit family and friends for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. Because of our busy schedules, it’s important to stay focused on our goals and priorities. I get distracted pretty easily, but there are steps I take that help me stay on track. I write a list of what needs to be done in order so I don’t forget. I also arrange daily routines by jotting it down in my agenda or on my calendar. By dividing my time up accordingly throughout the day helps me stay organized. I think what’s most important is for an individual to actually have a reason to do what they do. Without this drive, chances are that the individual will have no motivation. You need to know your purpose and remind yourself why it’s important to you. I would suggest maybe trying self-assessments to find out who you are and what you intend to do. I think it’s also important for you to get enough to eat and to sleep as well as taking breaks or exercising. It might actually be harder to focus on something if you won’t allow yourself to rest or to take your mind away for some time.
